Learning about the different
methods of Mole Removal : Sometimes, persons find
out, that some moles in their body need to go. These can be
caused by so many factors. One is due to cosmetology. They may
realize that a certain mole or group of moles is making them
physically ugly. They think that this mole is found at the
wring place at the wrong time. The other factor is because they
had to remove the mole. They may have noticed some alarming
changes that could only mean that the mole is evolving into
something more sinister and deadly.
Fortunately there are many
different methods of mole removal.
There is the so called natural method and there are the modern
methods.
The natural method is the only one among the
many different methods of mole removal that doesn’t really
remove the mole. All it does is hide it or make it as
inconspicuous as possible. This is done through the use of
special cosmetics. It can be applied directly to the mole and
it can make the mole like the skin surrounding it.
The other different methods of mole removal
comprise the modern methods. All in all, these methods have one
thing in common; they require surgery.
The different modern methods of mole removal
are: Excision method, Cauterization method, Shaving method and
Laser Removal method. All of these methods are painful so they
require anesthesia when performed.
The Excision method is typically used for
moles that have a potential to become cancer. The mole and its
surrounding skin are removed using a surgical blade. The size
depends on the how large the affected area is. Either the
surface of the skin or the underlying tissue is then stitched
together.
The next one called Cauterization involves
burning the mole away using a cautery tool. Because the mole is
burned-sutured, no stitches are required.
The third one is the Shaving method which is
usually used for protruding ones. It is done by lifting the
mole and removing it with a scalpel. The area is then burned to
stop the bleeding. Afterwards, antibiotics are applied to
combat infection.
The Laser surgery method is the cleanest and
the most sophisticated of the different methods of mole
removal. It is done by using a laser light beam to heat the
cells to manipulate and bursting them. This type of surgery
requires no stitches because the laser seals the blood vessels.
This procedure is very expensive so unless you are filthy rich,
it is not recommended esp. if you have a numerous number of
moles to be removed.
The modern methods are just some of the many
different methods of mole
removal. Before undergoing any of it, always make sure
that you are well - informed of what is going to happen and
that you trust the doctor who will be performing the procedure.
Keep in mind that there are also risks like infection and
scarring not to mention the high costs of each operation. If
possible, try to go for the natural method against the other
different methods of mole removal. The removal of a mole is
nothing if heavy consequences are the result.
